But there’s plenty to enjoy inside this beautifully presented 2-bedroom home from home that features brand new (2023) flooring, plus a new kitchen and bathroom suite. SINGLE LEVEL HOME This is a step free, one floor home, granting guests easy access to all areas, which makes moving around easy for younger guests and people with mobility issues. THE LIVING ROOM For those occasions when you’re not making the most of the wonderful nature all around you, the living area features twin blue couches gathered around a coffee table. It’s a great place to make plans for your next adventure, and to watch the large flatscreen TV. Even bigger is the freestanding full length mirror that’s great for perfecting your look just before you head out! THE KITCHEN Everything you see is new as the kitchen suite is just one of the remodeled features of the house. Check out the list of amenities to discover everything that’s in here for you. Highlights are sure to be the Keurig coffee maker for a delicious start to every day, and the dishwasher that’ll save anyone wasting time washing up. There’s also a rice maker, not something you’ll find everywhere you stay! THE DINING AREA There’s a table and chairs at which you can sit and enjoy all those delights you’ve created in the kitchen, or perhaps food you’ve ordered in. Clear away the plates and you can use the space for work and games (board games are provided). THE 2 BEDROOMS This family friendly home has a room with a double bed for the grown-ups in your group and a second room with bunk beds that’s sure to appeal to the young and young at heart. A flatscreen TV in the double room gives you viewing options if someone’s not keen on what’s on in the living area. Both bedrooms have storage space for everyone’s clothes and bags, so there’s no need to live out of your suitcases when you stay here. September 2024 5.00We loved our stay in Prospect. The views were breathtaking. We enjoyed waking up every morning with coffee on the back porch overlooking the water. There were plenty of linens and it was very clean. All of the basics were provided. Will definitely be back to visit.

July 2024 4.00The couches are very hard and uncomfortable. There should be kitchen towels and maybe a meat thermometer in the kitchen. The grill needs replaced. But other than that the place was great. Would definitely go back and stay again if we are in the area.

June 2024 3.00Positives: great air conditioning, well stocked kitchen with good appliances, very clean and beautiful views. Negatives: front porch was in complete disarray and dirty, back decking was full of leaves and tree debris and had not been swept for many weeks. My husband enjoys working outside and spent a morning sweeping and tidying up. It would also be way better to have a more comfortable sofa.

May 2024 4.00Overall a great stay. Just wish the staircase to the roof and the dock were in working order. Clean on the inside and the deck with the view was suburb. Would stay again but was disappointed there wasn’t a heads up on basically no dock and the staircase being out of order. Perfect for a family of four. Great space outside for cornhole or other outdoor games.

May 2024 4.00View of the Ohio River was very nice. Dining table and sofas/TV in the room with all the windows was nice. Liked all the updates inside the home. Kitchen chairs comfy. The master bedroom bed was comfy and clean. Not sure what happened with the kids' room: sheets and comforters were dirty. It's possible a previous guest made the bed so it looked like no one used it, but housekeepers didn't check. Fortunately they had extra sheets, but still not something we wanted to deal with when we were tired/going to bed at midnight. Most floors had not been mopped. The bathroom and kitchen were clean, as well as furniture in the living area. No clothes detergent, so bring your own, even though you are to put used towels & start washer on checkout. Outdoor chairs in good condition. Gas firepit didn't light/gas grill wasn't set up for use. It seems the manager needs to walk through the property at least once a month to ensure all cleaning is up to par and everything is usable and safe.
